I'm having to relocate but have been staying with a relative in Tamarac and its like over 80 percent of the people is over 65. Its really depressing.
but I'm trying to figure out which area of Broward is best for the 24-35 age group. thanks.

The eastern side of the county has a much larger proportion of 24-35. Anywhere on or near the beach. Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale Beach. Also, Plantation and Davie are young since there is a large college there called NOVA.

Yeah Tamarac and Margate are the two worst places for your criteria. Stay away from those places!

Everything is driving distance. I have a place in West Tamarac and have had no problem heading out with friends for a good time (I'm 28). NOTHING is walking distance unless you live on Las Olas... so who cares if you are in Tamarac or Margate.

Just head over to the hard rock, downtown fort lauderdale, las olas, university/595 area.

It also depends on your budget. If you can afford it, it would be wise to live where you want to live. If not, then I suppose Tamarac and Margate are doable. But you'd be better off IMO living in a younger suburb for the same money like Davie, Plantation, or Sunrise.

I just couldn't disagree more. I think you'll find almost zero value living in a "younger suburb" - you'll still just get in your car and drive to anything you want to do. Focus on finding a quiet, safe place to live. South Florida in general is sketchy with a ton of bad pockets and less than desirable places to be. Find a good safe place to live, then drive the 5 minutes to the younger areas when you want to get out.
