I'll consider a studio if I have too, I'm looking for a apartment complex in a safe area with no roaches from around 700 or less. If you know of some please advise.

Thanks

You won't find that here. Maybe in a different part of the state. But not in South FL.

It depends on what you define as "decent". Cooper Properties still runs a whole bunch of one room, motel style apartments just north of Broward, south of the tracks, between Federal and Andrews. These are scattered in and amongst the new complexes going up. Cooper is biding his time, just holding onto the land until a developer wants to bulldoze the next one of the blocks. It is my understanding you can rent one of these for $800 or less. This is So. Fla., you should fumigate before you move into to any place.

I would say check CL for people sub letting rooms. You get more bang for your buck that way but sacrifice a bit of privacy.

Don't forget that no matter what the rent price, you'll still have to pay extra for utilities.

You may be able to find a studio for that amount (without utilities). My advice would be to get a room mate in a 2 bedroom apartment that is like 1200 dollars and so you will pay 600/month and with the utilities it will be around 700.

I don't think you can find a decent 1BR for under $700 but you can probably share a 2BR with someone else for under $700 each.
