25 year old male moving from Maine to South Florida in a couple of months. Looking for a nice apartment somewhat near jobs, nightlife, and the beach in the $700-900 range. Which city is better? Thanks!

26 years old here looking for something similar. Moving from PA to Fort Lauderdale. Looking for somewhere near nightlift and the beach. Preferably close to a downtown area.

Bro from what I've heard Fort Lauderdale is where it's at. But I could be wrong...

Nah man Fort Lauderdale is great. Just Hollywood is only about 15-20 minutes South of Fort Lauderdale (depending on traffic), closer to Miami which I would like to visit on weekends occasionally. And I have heard Hollywood is great also. Bottom line is, people will hate no matter what we ask haha. I love warm weather, beautiful women (single guy here) and the job market in Maine is second worst in the nation...better than only Hawaii. FLORIDA HERE I COME!!

Agents have just told me I can get the same kind of apartment in Hollywood near nightlife there and Hollywood Beach for a little less in terms of rent than I would in Fort Lauderdale. And I am close enough where I can still visit Fort Lauderdale.

That makes sense, Mike. You'd (if living in Hollywood) be in the middle of Ft. Lauderdale and Miami (both much more $$$) then Hollywood.

And being in between both so I could still go there. Sounds good to me. I would love to find a 1 bedroom in some complex in Hollywood to help meet new people.
