Looking for Winter Condo Rental In Lauderdale Area (Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood: rentals, prices)

Good Morning,

Hubby and I are looking to rent Jan/Feb/Mar. and would love to be on the beach with an ocean view from balcony. We need 2BR/2BA. We love Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, but would consider other areas. I have been looking for about a month on VRBO, but just can't seem to get those months for our budget of $2000.00 per month. Anyone know where else we can find rentals or other websites?

Lauderdale By The Seas is a great area and I would highly recommend it. I cannot answer your other questions though. I'll defer to someone else.

I suspect you'll be looking for a long time to find 2K/month in prime season in So. Fl on the beach. I don't think even Hollywood gets down much below $2800.

In all seriousness, if you just want warmer weather and ocean, your dollar will go much farther starting up in Melbourne or go across and look at the Gulf instead of the ocean.

I agree with casualobserver. Fort Lauderale/Pompano Beach is a great area in the winter and there is a lot of stuff to keep you occupied. But the prices are very expensive here compared to areas further north. I would also check into Stuart and the North Palm Beach area.

If you have family down here then that is different of course. Or if you have a specific reason for staying in Fort Lauderdale. Or if you just want to really badly. Then it is different.
