Hi -

We are moving to South Florida and need some help deciding where to live. My husband will be working in Pompano Beach and want to keep his commute time under 30 minutes if possible.

We have 2 kids - one 6 year old in Kindergarten and a 3 year old who is in pre-school. We want an area that is very family friendly, safe and excellent elementary schools. Our budget is up to $325k.

Any insight is much appreciated!

I would look in Parkland or Coral Springs. Both are under 30 minutes commuting to Pompano Beach. Both have good schools. I would avoid living anywhere further east including Pompano. the schools are bad there and crime is worse.

Coral Springs would be best for you and your family from the research I have done.
