I am planning on moving to Cooper City next year. I have a 13 year old daughter that will be attending Cooper City High School. We've had some problems in the past with rude faculty and grossly overpopulated schools. The prinicpal of her last school was extremely arrogant and did nothing to help the students when they needed assistance. Can anyone please tell me about the faculty and the student body at CCHS?

Another quick thing, the neighborhood I currently live in is extremely segregated. Will we have that problem in Cooper City?

Not sure about the faculty there, but it is one of the higher rated schools with a pretty good reputation. Cooper City itself is predominantly middle or slightly upper class. Does your daughter play softball? Their fastpitch softball program is one of the best in the county, if not the state.

Alright, thank you for your response. No my daughter doesn't play sports, she's more into acting and dancing, but we'll keep that bit of information in mind just in case she ever does decide to take up a sport!

Do you have to move to Cooper City ? You may want her to check out the high school in Parkland, my wife teaches there and I've been to several of their plays. The drama department, and the theatre is first class! Parkland schools just rated #1 in the US Forbes Parkland Schools

Thank you so much for the information. We really do love Parkland and think it's a beautiful neighborhood, but it's too far from my husband's work.
