I recently bought a condo by the beach in Hollywood and want to rent it out. Looking for a good property management company. Have spoken with a few but I have no idea how to compare. I live in a different state and do not have much knowledge about the area. Any recommendation will be very helpful.

I'm interested in this, too. I have a single family home and a duplex that I'd like to turn over to a management company after being a landlord for 30 years. I'm moving out of the area but will be keeping the rentals so I'll need a good company to manage them.

I know that there are some real estate agents who manage but I'd rather find a well-established company.

How much do these real estate agents and company charge? A fixed fee or a percentage of the rent?

Usually the property management companies charge first months rent and around 10% of monthly rent on a ongoing basis.

What if the business relationship is only 6 months?

I checked out your website and it's so full of punctuation and capitalization mistakes that I could never take your company seriously. If you run your business as unprofessionally as your website, I'd be very hesitant to use your services. It would be to your advantage to have someone edit your site, I think. First impressions matter.

I'm renting out my house and I use RPM (Real Property Management)

Real Property Management Miami, FL | Rental Property Manager Miami

They have branches all over the US. I'm using the one in Tucson and its great. They charge 10% and handle EVERYTHING. They even change a/c filters quarterly, do background checks on possible tenants and inspect your home quarterly to ensure its being cared for. They have a great BBB rating.
