Does anyone here have experience with this school? If I go through with my plans, I would want to follow a 2 year associates degree program as an international student.

What do u want to know about it? I'm quite familiar with it.
An international student will have to submit TOEFL scores...as well as get ur transcripts evaluated by a 3rd party evaluation agency (J. Silny) and have them sent to Broward College. . .

A lot of people to the 2 year Associate degree and than transfer into FAU/FIU/UM/NSU etc

Tudo, this is just my opinion, Palm Beach State College is much better and not that much further away from the North campus of BC.

The price is the same last time I checked. The campus is better and so are the professors.

Like I said, just my opinion. I didn't like any of the BC campus' at all.

They are about the same. What country are you from?

There are graduates from Broward College who move on to become doctors and lawyers, etc. It all depends on how motivated and smart you are.

For you, there is a problem. Getting a college degree is not easy. You have to be motivated to do it. Many people do it because they NEED it to 1) get out of their current job (usually min. wage job or something similiar) or 2) provide for themselves or family in the future. You don't have this push/need to stick around. Getting a college degree means hours of time at library or at home by yourself working on papers, doing homework, etc.

I suggest that you find this desire within yourself first before spending money on a college degree.

No I'm not employed by them, I just prefer them (as does almost everyone I know that has gone to both BC and PBSC) and am offering suggestions to the OP. Why are you being so rude?

let me break it down here......

Palm Beach State is no better than Broward College....same goes for Miami-Dade.... they're all the same.

A student transferring into, let's say FAU....will not be looked at any differently regardless of what school they got their AA from. .

Example, A student from Miami-Dade has an AA degree and has a 3.2 GPA
Now, a student from Broward College has an AA degree with a 3.2 GPA..

They both apply to FAU/FIU, whichever one....

They both are accepted, it doesn't matter. . . As long as your GPA from Miami-Dade/Broward/Palm Beach is good and you meet the requirement of the AA degree u can transfer into any school..... One doesn't look better than the other. .

Trust me, I work in an admissions office at a major university in south florida.

and the person who was saying Palm Beach state is better.....
to that I say, NO. It's not. They're all part of the same state "community college" (tho they're not state colleges) system.
