can somebody give me feedback on the san remo townhouses located at SW 60TH AVENUE ON HIGHWAY 441 please ...i am desperate ...is the neighbourhood safe (33068)? I am single female looking to rent a san remo townhouse...please respond

That area is no-frills but ok. Not sure of the development itself, but the surrounding area isn't anything to worry about. The sole trouble spot in North Lauderdale is the Kimberly Blvd area and that development is a good distance from there. I would say that the further south you go on 441, the worse it gets.

I live in the general area right now, I go to the N. Lauderdale Home Depot shopping center nearby and definitely feel that the area is on the downslide.

In general I would be wary of buying in any new community built recently. I think this one was built after the boom had peaked, and I have to wonder about construction quality and issues.

My recommendation for someone moving to the area from out of the country is to rent for a while and then decide on where you want to purchase. The prices are NOT going up anytime soon!
