I saw the previous threads about Hollywood FL and I am looking for new info. There is a new school -Beachside Montessori Village that I have been researching and was wondering about the areas nearby. Any thoughts on the area ???

That area of Hollywood is great. I'm a native of the city and that section (east of 46th Avenue, north of Washington Street, south of Taft Street and all the way over to the beach has always been pretty well-established/fairly safe. A good area of focus in my opinion is around Memorial Hospital (35th and Johnson, about a mile in any direction). I lived on Golf Drive just east of Park Road for 20 years and am very familiar with that area.

Hollywood is hit and miss but the area OP mentioned is very established and well regarded.

Thank you for your reply I noticed that there are bad and good comments about the area. Do you by any chance know the names of the high school that services that area?

That particular area would be South Broward High School.
