We would like to plan for a new roof, and am hoping to get some input from someone here. We have a shingle, gabled roof. We are in southern Broward County.

Can you recommend a company that you used recently (within the past 2 years)? Thanks.

I have used Rapid Roofer, Inc from Pembroke Pines and very happy with their price and service. Chris, the owner is very easy to work with. You can reach him @ 954.437.7275 or 954.931.8636

Earl Johnston Roofing, Inc. - 954.989.7794
They're based out of Hollywood.
I grew up with the family that owns this company (the Johnstons). They're really great to work with and very fair.

Here is a recommendation, before you have your begin reroofing, have a professional come in and bait your attic for rodents. My experience and a couple of other neighbors has been that rodents made their way into the attic because of gaps left by the roofer (all of us had different roofers). The extra precaution will save you tons of headaches in the long run, if a critter makes its way into the attic.

We just recently had work done by Lyons Roofing -- we also hired them to pressure clean our roof and they repaired any cracked tiles that they saw. We had three roofers come out to our house to bid on the job and Lyons was the company we hired. They provide a three-year warranty, something that the other roofers did not do. Lyons also would not accept our money until the job was complete to our satisfaction. Very good company to work with. Here is the link, if it is acceptable to provide it: Home
