lol realtors would love "bidding wars" on real estate but that just is not the case. Remember they were saying buy buy buy all the way until 2008? They will do it again even as prices stagnate and/or decrease. Realtors are some of the worst type of people.

I love when people make generalizations about people they do not know...

Or will never be. The odds of a person with those thoughts of ever dealing with a real estate agent are about as good as my going to Mars next week.

I would guess you are a renter. Guess what: People continue to migrate to FL. There are jobs for the people with the skills and experience to do the jobs available. Yeah, house prices are rising. They certainly aren't going down anymore. The entire country went into a deep recession. Investors and those with little or no money in the properties walked away leaving the banks and mortgage lenders holding a lot of real estate. Those people knew that they got screwed in the boom and cut their losses. I know someone who paid $236k for a house worth $150k and is trying to get $170k out of it while it sits empty and she's paying the mortgage and the taxes.

Get SOME of the facts right SOME of the time.

Just curious, but in what area is there an apartment/condo that rents for $1,200, but you could buy for $80,000?

This whole post screams "know it all". How could you ever predict what the price of real estate is? Are you a wizard? Why are you posting on here and not spending time on your $50 million yacht?

wait, are you posting from your 50 million dollar yacht?

In FL, there always seems to be a boom/bust feel. Not stable like other states in the southeast. I dont like it, but it is what it is.

Well, the condo I live in could sell for $60,000. I could probably get $1200 per month for it. I'm in Plantation.
