Where did you finally end up?
How do you like the neighborhood/subdivision?
How do you like the schools (if applicable)?
Any regrets?
Any advice?

My info:
My wife got a promotion with her company in Fort Lauderdale proper and I was able to transfer with my company. We are moving from Texas where we are used to the climate (heat, hurricanes, drought), nature (snakes, mosquitos, bugs), diverse population (immigrants, ethnicities, bad drivers), etc... Our combined salary skirts Obama's definition of RICH, although we don't feel rich (just blessed-worked very hard to get to where we are). We have two kids - a 15 year old and a 9 year old.

I moved here six months ago and I am very happy. I like my subdivision and my neighbors are very nice. Good luck!
