Veranda Condo-Plantation (sales, apartment, rentals)

Looking for information about the Veranda Condo's in Plantation that were built in 2007. How is the quality of construction? Pricing? What are the people like who live there? There is construction next door. Are they building additional condos?

Any advice on the property would be appreciated.

HERE are some reviews on Veranda. We looked at the place and it seems nice and peaceful and the pool and workout area are nice but one of the parking places was uncovered and the units are smaller according to Broward County records than they are listed for, so I found that a builder 1217 sq ft unit was listed as supposedly 1137 sq feet and I have no idea which of the two numbers might be correct.

As for the buildings going up next to and in front of, the one in front has taken away a lot of guest parking along that road, so parking has become and issue for visitors and the one on the side when complete will no doubt take away some of the guest parking around the back of the building once complete. I was told the units going up are supposed to be rentals but I am guessing that once the market gets better then they all will become sales again.

Doing property searches HERE (type in Veranda and click search) most of Veranda are owned by Corporations and maybe 50 units are owner by individuals, so most have been bought as investment property and probably to be used as rentals and then possibly sold once the market recovers.

Other than the parking issue it is nicely located close to hospitals and with Publics and Dunkin Donuts right across the street and a big shopping mall blocks away but read the reviews and then judge for yourself.

The Veranda at Plantation Condominium is AWESOME. I have lived here for over three years and I am very happy.
