He thinks many outside Florida don't recognize the name Broward but associate Fort Lauderdale with fun and sun....so he wants to change the county's name to "Lauderdale County"


im sorry, but that is dumb and should be lowest of the low on the priority list.

There's nothing wrong with Broward county,no need to change it,plus I don't even like the sound of Lauderdale county.

^^^ yes and a big waste of money to repaint all the signs, county vehicles, etc. and reprint all the brochures, forms and paperwork the county uses every day. This is almost as dumb as making everyone get new ugly license plates.
