Pass this along, post it to facebook, share share share. I live in Coconut Creek and have a motion sensing camera facing out my kitchen door. The last 2 months the entire 'township' area of Coconut Creek has had a string of mid day, forced entry, break ins. One cop said over 10 in the last 2 months.

Two days ago at 5pm-530pm, I caught a 20 minute break in attempt, 2 minutes after my wife got in the car and drove away. Luckily many neighbors were home and kept walking by, preventing the break in, and passing the plates on to the police who arrived after they drove off. It was four black men, the police said the plate was registered in South FT Lauderdale. I live in a town house. My neighbor a few doors down, spotted 3 around back, and I have the one out front approaching my door multiple times over 20 minutes. My wife even saw him when she was leaving, she describes him as extremely dark black, early 20s, slim. All 4 had empty back packs. The three around back cut my neighbors back porch screen and entered his back porch to his glass back door, they left two large rocks on his porch, but luckily due to my other neighbor seeing them and walking her dog while watching them, they never broke into either home.

In the last few weeks others in my community have not been as lucky and had their glass doors both front and back smashed, as well as a month prior to those, a two others had the front door itself forced open. They are stealing quick grab pawnable items. The last spring of break ins have always been 11am-12pm, this time it was 5pm--530p.

They were driving a white, four door civic, all windows tinted, mid to late 90s. Anyone work at one of the local news and want to pick this up just PM me. Even with all the above the coconut creek police do not appear to be all too interested, as they did not get them as it happened. It is just going to a detective. I am a bit frustrated at this, as they have plates, a 30 minute video, a cut screen, rocks, and multiple neighbors putting them in all the places at the times, but thats the police for ya.

Attached are pics. Keep in mind these guys might be driving up here, so they could show up anywhere, esp after their bad experience here this time.

Crews from central Broward (Lauderhill) have been hitting Boca for years. Same M.O. as your situation but police don't want to "profile" certain groups for fear of violating their civil rights.
