Hello, This story may sound "crazy" or weird. But I need some advice. So my senior year in high school, I was talking to a guy, the relationship never went anywhere besides FRIENDSHIP. I remember "him" lying to me about something, and i decided just to be friends. He tried contacting my best friend at the time, to make things right.. But I was upset, soooo i just wanted to remain friends. It's been almost 3yrs since we spoke. Last year 2012, he wrote me on Facebook, to say Happy Birthday. But other than that we haven't spoken.

Now for the past 3yrs, I've had him on my mind! I been waiting to contact him, and just speak to him. When he wrote me on my birthday last, i replied back thank you, and hopes that he we try to continue the conversation, but he didn't

So my question is, whether or not I should contact this guy! It's been three yrs, I have no clue where his at in his life, and whether or not he has a girlfriend.... I guess i want to start what we never began, to see where it can go! I cant write him on facebook, because he deactivated it, and he changed his number, about 2yrs ago. Now i do have his new number, But of course he doesn't know that! so i don't wanna call him out of the blue, And he wondering how the hell she got my number lol!!!

Idk what to do. I'm very confused! I just want closure. Wether I should leave this situation alone, or try to contact him {contact him how??? no facebook account, and he doesn't know i have his #}. I feel as though, if he was interested that he would have tried to continue that conversation on facebook, after i replied, to the birthday message!! idk guys. I've been asking the universe/God for signs, and I've been getting mixed messages!!! What should i do??? I've been hesitated, because If a guy/man wants a girl, they go for it!!!! And if he was interested, he had a chance to continued, the conversation on facebook last year!!! what are your thoughts???

Sincerely, Confused girl

From a guy's perspective, you should just text or call him! Take a chance. Roll the dice. It is your only option other than showing up on his doorstep which would be sort of weird.

If he feels the same way about you, it will all work out. Worst case scenario is he isn't into you like you are into him, so it doesn't work and you feel some humility. Better to find out than never find out and torture yourself.

He probably got tired of chasing you for so long that he just gave up. Although your intentions were to keep the conversation going when you replied "thank you", you really didn't leave the conversation open for a response. Maybe he figured you didn't really want to talk. I'm sure your paths will cross again and at that time you will have the opportinuty. But I agree with the above poster, just call him. What do you have to lose?
