There's some info on Kings Point posted on the Palm Beach County sub-forum that you might find helpful.

HBO filmed a reality TV series in King's Point of delray last year..... looks utterly depressing-- where people basically go to die.

Filled with old people who are waiting to die. Not being rude at all, but that's what it is. I mean watch the reality show and you'll get a good of idea of King's point in Delray

My parents rent there in the winter that is a horrible thing to say..they live in a country club adult 55 in NJ that is beautiful.. they happen to like renting in Kings Point because of the shows and what not...Now they wouldnt live there full time but I wouldn't say its utterly depressing either....We spent alot of time there at there pool etc Wouldnt be my 1st choice to live, but not everyone has the money for the upscale adult communities....

There are some nice adult communities that are younger between Broward and Palm Beach County...Delray and Boynton Beach has some nice communities as well but it all depends on what it is your looking for...

OP: there are adult communities in Broward that have activities my parents have friends that live there and they are always busy with things to do...
