Good day all!
I am just wondering is there any bus or train connecting Miami and Fort Lauderdale?
Thank you

Yes, but where are you trying to go? It would depend greatly on that. The first option is the Tri Rail train system that runs north-south between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Tri Rail ends at Miami International Airport. There is also a stop in northern Miami where you can switch onto the Miami Metrorail System to get to downtown Miami. I should add that Tri Rail runs through some sketchy neighborhoods in Miami, but you should be fine.

Now if you are trying to go to Miami Beach, there is no train that takes you there. The best you could do is take the trains to downtown Miami and then hop on a bus or a cab to South Beach.

Other forms of public transportation would be the airport shuttles between Fort Lauderdale International Airport and Miami International Airport. Don't waste your time on buses the whole way because you'll have to switch buses multiple times and will spend an eternity getting there.

Ok. A cab would cost a fortune. You would be much better off renting a car. The train way to downtown Miami and then taking a cab out to south beach would be cheaper, but more complicated.

There are I-95 express buses from various locations in Broward to Downtown Miami.
However, these are only available during weekdays and during peak hours.

There are buses from Downtown to MIA Beach.

If it were me, I'd do that one (if public transport is preferential) - the train (Tri-Rail and Metrorail) until Govt Center (Downtown Miami) and then take the cab. It's not easy, but okay and cheap. Or just rent a car, easier and more convenient, plus safer (just mind the tons of dreadful SoFL/Miami drivers); loads of quite cheap deals on the web.
