I'm tired of working as an employee and would like to start my own business. Any suggestion? What type of business would be easy to start with in this area without investing tons of money?
Thanks!

Don't you think that we all would have opened that business by now if we knew?

FWIW, maid services always do well but it is hard work.

It's hard to say what kind of business would fit your blueprint. But if you show up on time for appointments (habitual lateness is an epidemic in South Florida) and provide a good product and reliable, honest service at a fair price, you'll have a shot at building a clientele. These seemingly common-sense characteristics are not to be taken for granted anywhere, but it's especially the case in South Florida. I appreciate and reward businesses that get it right.

Below are three easy steps for you to follow and start a successful business.
  1. Create a Post on CD requesting member to list all problems or things they 'hate' about South Florida.
  2. Find to solution to fix any one of those problems while at the same time making a profit.
  3. Deposit 10% of your gross profit into an account which I will provide to you later.

Remember, being a business owner now means that you will now do all the thinking for your business.
