Just out of curiosity, Craig, what is your definition of an "older" home? One thing to remember is that unlike most of the metro areas in the Northeast, South Florida wasn't really populated until about 100 years ago -- and most of the growth has occurred in the past 50 to 60 years. So a home built in 1965 that might be considered "middle-age" up north is "old" here.

I moved here 1987 -- Weston was just starting up at that time, and Parkland probably had less than 1,000 residents. So anything you look at in those communities is probably 25 years old maximum.

Hi Pappillions2

As we are coming from the Northeast, we wanted to move into a new home.Because here in the Northeast, there are no new communities coming up atleast wherever i live.

Just a small incentive to move.

regards
Craig
