Hard combination. The ocean access part is easy, but most of the schools on the east side aren't what would be considered desirable.

If you want ocean access, you might have to opt for private schools - or be willing to trek up to Boca. Honestly it depends on your tolerance for travel and your budget. There are a bunch of decent areas to live in, they just seem to border the not so nice areas to live in.

Davie is not a great area-No ocean access-Terrible schools. I advise move up the Big Leagues and live in Palm Beach, Jupiter Island or VB-Best of luck to you!

You know, new visitors might take your nonsense seriously.

Davie is one of the best places in the county to live. However, outside of a couple businesses on New River, yea, Davie has no ocean access. But who cares? To the original poster, if you want good schools and ocean access, you will need to pay for expensive private schools. Or you can simply trailer your boat to one of the many ramps that are no more than 20-30 minutes away from the west areas like Davie.
