If you decide on an acre home remember most of them have wells. That means you need an expensive water system to purify and make sure you are drinking clean water. I would rather have city water and sewers. My preference. I don't want to trust my water quality to a water system. City water is tested all the time. Who needs the hassle of septic tanks either.
It's best to ask all these questions before making a decision to move on acreage.

That's not even true. It depends on the area. Most of the acre home in Davie are served with municipal water.

As for the hassle of a well and septic system, I have multiple family members in Loxahatchee with well/septic and it's about as much of a non-issue as you can get.
