Hey all. I'm going to be flying into Ft Lauderdale in March. Are Ubers available and allowed to pick up passengers from the airport? I know some cities have bans on Ubers picking up from airports. Thanks!

Yes. They recently got approved after a ban, and now you'll pay the extra airport fee, but still WAY cheaper than taxi.

Just know that you'll have to exit the terminal and walk to your right where you'll find commercial vehicles parked. Telling you this because I have some friends that do Uber and they tell me that sometimes they have to cancel their trip because the passengers want to be picked up in front of the terminals - you'll get charge a cancellation fee if you don't want to walk in the rain for example.
