We have so many nice areas! What are you hoping to find? Or what do you enjoying doing? Is it important to be near shops or do you prefer quiet areas?

To give you an idea of what homes are in Harbor Inlet. Just over the 17th street bridge on right. My friend just purchased a 1953 (900 sq foot) 1 bedroom home, single carport, no patios, small lot. He paid $600,000. I kid you not. He wants to renovate but the house is a tear down. He's getting Contractor re-build quotes of $600,000 and up to re-build not including tear costs which are run anywhere from $10,000 up. He's stressed because he must stow all his stuff and rent some place or live in a cheap hotel for the next 6 months.

I agree these are nice areas but VP and RV is scary expensive. You will not find a decent sized home there for under $700,000. The large mansion style homes are easily over $1M and go up to $10M! Also, VP is very dark at night (not many street lights and home invasions are common near Winn Dixie on Federal). Some parts of RV are snobby mostly made up of people from New England area, New York, New Jersey, etc.

You can get in Rio Vista for the OP's price.

Most of my friends live in Rio Vista and none of them are from the Northeast and none snobby. At least that isn't my experience. The waterfront homes are expensive but you can get in Rio Vista in the sixes.

There are only townhouses and apartments behind Winn Dixie not SFH. I agree it is very dark.
