Yeah, and what? Like 1% of the population can afford to live or spend the majority of their time on the beach? Give me a break. It's magma hot here during the summer Mostly over 100F.

Yes, it's hot in the summer. Anyone who moves here should do their homework and know that coming in. But saying it's regularly over 100F doesn't pass the smell test. Here are Fort Lauderdale's record highs and lows as of the end of 2016 (check out the top chart):

It rarely reaches 100 in South Florida.

Or are you in Arizona?

No ruski, that would be me! I was in Fort Lauderdale last July/August and it was hot, but still more bearable than summer in Arizona in my opinion. It actually cooled down in the evenings wheras out here it MAY cool down to between 105-108 at night...after midnight.

Since when is Fort Lauderdale in Arizona?

It is miserably hot and humid in South Florida during the summer, not to mention the nonstop thunderstorms. Do you want to continue splitting hairs?

Give it a year and you'll be ready to leave that cesspool. I moved from NH to Ft Lauderdale, and enjoyed the first year, but once the honeymoon was over I couldn't couldn't wait to leave. The traffic, the heat and humidity, the crime, the rude people, the fake people, high cost of living, etc etc. I'm down there fairly regularly for work and I am frequently reminded how much I hated that area.

I don't think anyone can argue with this.

I thought you were describing Arizona since you had written

I thought you got on a wrong forum section by mistake.

PS sorry, can't give you a break, but let me know if you would like a comma.

So you went back north, huh? What led you to Fort Lauderdale initially?
