Hey everybody! I posted a very similar thread on the West Palm Beach forum as well and am hoping to get your input. Long story short, I am 23 year old young professional who lives in Fort Pierce/Vero Beach, Florida and am planning to relocate shortly. I'm just sick of it here, there is nothing to do. I was thinking either West Palm, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, or maybe even Orlando (although I doubt I would move there). I'm leaning towards either West Palm or Fort Lauderdale but if you think Tampa or Orlando should be in consideration, let me know. I have spent time in all these cities in my life. I go to West Palm all the time on the weekends and always have a good time but I'm wondering if that's mainly a city where people mostly go out in but don't live. I love Fort Lauderdale but it's just a little further away from me, which is why I don't visit it as often as I visit West Palm Beach. I'm single and very social so it's important to me to have a lot of people (especially young women) my age nearby. Here's what I'm looking for: fun downtown where I can walk places, LOTS of people my age, younger vibe of residents.

I'm thinking West Palm might contain an older crowd of residents for the most part, besides the students but I don't know. I'm not overly interested in hanging out with a bunch of college kids either, lol. Which do you think is the smarter city to move to: West Palm or Fort Lauderdale?

As far as budget goes, I can go up to $1600-1700 (depending how nice of a unit it is) for a 1/1 which should be able to get me something decent I think. Thanks for sharing your thoughts everyone! Have a great day!

Why do you keep posting the same questions in the same cities but under a different screen name?
Very confusing.
What exactly has kept you from moving already?

The most social friends I know live and go out in West Palm Beach. I think that is probably your best bet.

Bro, just move south already. You're acting like you're trying to decide on whether to move to Hawaii or not...You're in Vero Beach....like right up the road from WPB. I dont get the hesitation? Just do it. You're 23. Do it.
