To get a FL drivers license when moving from another state, if the person is 77 years old and already has a license, do they have to actually take a driving test where they drive the car for the instructor? Or take a written test? Or neither? Went to governmental site and it just says to make an apointment. Can't find the answers.

You won't find the answers online because its so subjective.

Florida DHSMV - New Residents

According to there, "If you have an out-of-state license, you may be able to convert it to a Florida driver's license without having to take a written or road test." They may make the person take a road test because of their age, there is no blanket answer. All I can say is make an appointment and talk to the DMV yourself on the phone to find out.

you will need an eye test and if you look like a "rough" 77 year old you will get road tested.
