With plans to move to the FtL area by the end of this year I wanted to get some feedback on the private schools. I heard much about where the best public schools are but how about Catholic Schools? Are they expensive? Are they a good alternative in South Florida? What towns are the best ones in?
k-12 and high schools.
Thank you

Pinecrest isn't Catholic though, I'm not sure it has any religious affiliation. St. Thomas is in Ft Lauderdale, Archbishop McCarthy is in Cooper City, Chaminade-Madonna, Hollywood. All are high schools.
It is not easy to get into a Catholic grammar school. When we tried, they all had waiting lists. My son did go to Archbishop McCarthy, the tuition 4 years ago was in the $10,000. range.

Chaminade Madonna in Hollywood has a pretty good reputation and a reasonable tuition. It's Catholic, but I actually know a Jewish girl who goes there and loves it.
