Fort Lauderdale proper - lots to do, growing and becoming nicer, a small city.

Weston - manicured, safe, clean, quiet, only 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale by I-595.

For me it's Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, there's tons to do and I love their beaches and boardwalks. Like Ruski said Fort Lauderdale is getting nicer and growing with new places popping up seemingly every day.

I also like Pompano Beach because it does have some cool places to go with family and friends.

I'm sure all those other cities have a lot of stuff to do but I haven't spent much time there so can't really comment on them.
