In Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and there is SO much Sargussum IN ocean it looks disgusting and can barely swim. Some are in ocean, but most folks like us are sitting on beach. Beach is clean as they clean it with machines in morning.
Have heard that it has been an issue up an down east coast of Fl,Virgin Islands, Cancun.

It is a fairly regular thing. There have been other threads on it. Lived in the area for years and only swam in the ocean a few times. My pool was much more inviting and convenient.

Beach has been beautiful for the week here, sitting under an umbrella with a nice breeze was a delight. Was only able to swim 2 of the days were were here.
Spoiled by the clear water on the Gulf side
