no more classical music radio here in Broward county area. :-( ? I think. I guess it's a telltale of the times we're living in. (rap, etc.) So I guess the best next step is to listen to music on the internet streaming from stations that specialize in classics. sigh. :-( What a shame...
There used to be some years ago a good station that had good programs (my interpretation of good) and classical music. No more. sigh again.

Satellite radio lets you sidestep the horror show on the FM airwaves.

NPR has been cutting back on classical music for years, replacing music with talk.

Definitely agree that both AM and FM in Fort Lauderdale region are horror shows. Sad, indeed. :-(

I've noticed. And lots of that talk is simply baloney. Too bad, sad again. But I guess the population likes rap and other type stuff, whatever.

I had siriusxm for a while but found a few classical stations (can't remember too well), but absolutely no real news. Again -- silly, ridiculous in the horrible sense, and sad. I guess I'll rely upon cd's that I can listen to. And no news. Because there's no news that I have found on AM, FM, or siriusxm. shrug and oh well. But a sad commentary about 'things.' (P.S. I got rid of sirius after a while, too expensive and even though they took the price down when I wanted to quit, so long to sirius.)

I used to subscribe to Sirius but found their offerings were too limited. I now use Pandora, and can access a LOT more music I like (including classical) than I ever had on Sirius.

You can try Amazon Music, it's free if you have Amazon Prime.

Do you have the Idagio app on your phone?

It's like Pandora for classical.

Sounds like it'd be perfect for you.
