Congratulations on the job ! In order for me or anyone else to help, we need to know where the school is and your price range.

Whoa. Did you say Lauderhill?

Have you researched anything about that area? Its not exactly Disney World if you know what I mean.

Be safe.

There are some nice areas in Lauderhill. For instance north of Oakland Park on Inverrary Blvd and communities between University and Pine Island.

Congrats. I dont know where you are from (I am from Long Island) but Broward is the strongest county to work for. I am also a teacher in the county at the high school level.

If you have any questions about the workplace let me know.

I moved down about 7 years ago and I got lucky where I moved. I live in Davie and its very quiet. Plantation, weston, cooper city, are prob the safest bets for places I'd want to raise kids. There are other towns that are nice in some parts and sketchy in others.

Rents are going to be around 1200-1400 for 2 BR apts. Should not be hard to find.

I live in the 33324, Davie/Plantation area, we are well "overstocked" with rental homes & homes for sale. We are located just on the south side of State Road 84 & just west of University Drive. You can try contacting an apartment complex called Cameron Cove, and then there is a Condo rental complex the name of that is Royal Grand (786) 412-6583 or 6503? (Goodle it) and then I live in a group of townhomes called The Escape at Arrowhead here are two places that have rental signs posted call (954)709-7919 and then the other one has a realtor rental sign with the number (954)661-1660
