Does anyone remember the bar named Fantasy Island (near Federal Hwy I think), Castle Park near Ft. Lauderdale Airport, or Agora ballroom in Hallandale? Spent a lot of time there!

Wasn't the Agora the place that was open until 6 in the morning?

Seems like we use to run there after the 4 O'Clock club would close.

It was originally called the "Reef Theatre" and it was in the same shopping center as Winn-Dixie. We saw "Mary Poppins" there when we were kids. Of course, that was before they started serving beer. It was later called "Reef Cinema 'n Drafthouse". There was another one on 17th Street Causeway in the Southport Shopping Center.

Yes I remember the club. It was a Teen club on the weekends... Nepenthe's

That takes me back. I was in highschool Boyd H. Anderson and live in the Burnham Woods area of North Lauderdale. I would be there almost every weekend I could get a ride if not it was to the Galaxy Skateway on Southgate Boulevard in North Lauderadale

If anyone here can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I lived in South Beach in the late 80's, and we hung out a fair amount at a club in Hallandale, I think right at 95 and Hallandale Beach Blvd... but I'm not positive. For the life of me, I can't remember the name???
