South Fla has a lot of the same elements as New York. I read on aol.com several months back that Miami was ranked the #1 city for road rage in the U.S. Boston was #2 and NYC was #3!!! That says it all. Miami is the worst area. People never use signals there, and if you decide to use your turn signal to change lanes, they speed up and don't let you in. Broward County isn't quite as bad, YET. Its headed that direction though. All of the "slow" people moved out of here a long time ago. Its at a point now where it is dangerous to drive slow, because you get run off of the road. You've gotta fight fire with fire now.

Excellent post, and unfortuntely its true. I have been to bigger cities, like Atlanta and Charlotte, and people are definitely better drivers.

Road rage here comes from good people gone bad one and with the heavy immigrant flow of "non" driving people on the roads screwing up the traffic. Throw in some "old people" driving also to cluster up the traffic some more and most normal driver's just get fed up and just want to get going.

You just have to "know" the traffic mind set here. Once you know, its actually not a problem. But I do agree, people here drive faster and harder than most other cities.

If you moved to South Florida expecting a slow pace of life you will be sadly disappointed. I am from NY and while life here is different from NY it is not a slow, country way of life.

9 out of 10 people here are not from NYC. Nevertheless-if you come to this part of FL (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, WPB) looking for a slow paced life you will be very disappointed.

Right, not worst drivers but rudest:
The list, ranked from those reporting the most incidents of road rage to the fewest:
1. Miami
2. New York
3. Boston
4. Los Angeles
5. Washington, D.C.
6. Phoenix
7. Chicago
8. Sacramento, Calif.
9. Philadelphia
10. San Francisco

Other than Sacramento & Phoenix, looks like a list of the best, most intersting cities in the country (no, not in my order).
Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good.
