Umm, not everyone wants to poke along. If you want to drive slow, make sure you stay in the right hand lane. If you want to drive under the speed limit, stay off the highways during busy times.

No matter where you go...you will find road rage......and it seems to be getting worse all over...perhaps it is tied to the economy...or perhaps there are tooooo many A-Holes getting a drivers license....either way...no matter how good of a driver you are...you will sooner or later run into someone who just don't give a duck......

^^^ BINGO!

S FL isnt "slow" anymore, due to its residents. Most of the "slow" people who actually do use turn signals and such moved away from S FL.

Hey, I am both, I drive the speed limit, do not tailgait anyone, and follow all driving rules, but if you tailgait my booty, I am going to slowdown until you get off it...................

^^^ Yes, very true. I remember when S FL was awesome. I lived in a more rural part of PBC where everyone was friendly, waved to eachother, etc... now, I wouldnt want to live down there. The area I knew and loved has changed.

Southwest Florida (Naples/Ft. Myers) is the same way. Heat, snowbirds, economy...who knows. People here seem miserable. Can't wait to leave.
