What is the Melrose Park neighborhood like? I drove through and saw many well-kept homes. What is the crime rate like, and the people who live there? I lived there from 1964-1978. I heard the area was coming back, and have noticed that the houses are bigger and significantly less expensive than areas further east in Ft. Laud. I am considering moving back to Ft Laud, and wanted to get a heads up. Also, what about the Lauderdale Manors area?

mostly Caribbean families. The place isn't that dangerous. Had a friend who lived over there and I would leave at 4 or 5 in the morning sometimes. Never had any issues and never felt unsafe.
