I remember someone posting about KKK in Davie. Saw this today in the paper and thought it was applicable link (http://www.sun-sentinel.com/community/news/davie/sfl-ku-klux-klan-davie-b040709,0,5210874.story - broken link)

wow....For what it's worth, my son's business associate told him he grew up there and the KKK thing was real. He's in his 30's.

Yeah, but the ones who dropped off the cards probably live in Hollywood or Sunrise.

Would you substantiate your opinion? I simply wonder what thought process your opinion comes from.

I have seen active neo-nazis in all three of those cities, so it's only an opinion. I saw them in some neighborhood off 44th St in Sunrise and I saw them in some neighborhood off of Sheridan St (around the Driftwood area, which I guess is almost Davie anyway) in Hollywood. I saw them one time in downtown Davie too. In all three circumstances they were hanging out on their porch with white power shirts on, and the locales were iffy.

I think it is safe to say NO ONE knows where these guys live and it is conjecture on anyone's part to say other wise. The fact of the matter is, regardless of what assumptions we all may throw out there, at the end of the day this happened in Davie.

I posted that same article in another forum because I thought it was relvant as well. My thing is people act like they've vanished of the face of the earth and don't exist in south Florida anymore. They say "oh that was a long time ago..". Well they may not be as bad as 20 years ago (which was really not that long ago if you ask me) but at least admit that they still exist and love having their presence known.

I would bet they are still around but they don't have such a big following as years ago. I lived in Davie in the 80's and early 90's and when ever they wanted to organize a march they were not received well even at that time. They always had more people against them then for them.

I lived in davie when I was about 7-9 years old until I was 11 and I remember seeing a cross being burned in the field that was next to silver oaks. They had the whir clothes on and pointy white hats. There were a lot of people. I remember my brother and I asking why they were burning a cross. I was told it was KKK. IDK If my parents told us what it was though

Black Lives Matter people advocate white police being assassinated today = no news.
Obama and Hillary are actively importing hundreds of thousands of sharia compliant muslims today = no news.
This article from over 7 years ago talking about a rally over 20 years ago = OH NO! Racism is here!

Get some perspective.
