What's up guys. My names Josh and I'm honestly just looking for a nice chill spot to go and shoot some pool, talk with friends, and drink some beer. This seems to be a foreign concept down here. Every place I've been to so far down here tries to turn into a club at night.

Until I moved here (from S. Carolina btw) I'd never seen a "pool hall" with a dance floor.

I just want to be able to talk to my friends from across the table, maybe flirt with the waitress a little, and relax.

If anyone knows of a place like that, I can't tell you how much I would appreciate it.

thanks in advance

There are 3 places I can think of off the top of my head. Gatsby's located on University Drive and 595 (i think) is a billards place that has a restaurant/bar connected to it. Its not a club, but there are things to do there besides playing pool. There is a more rednecky pool hall I think on either Oakland Park Blvd or Commercial Blvd somewhere close to Dixie Highway between US1 and I-95. I cannot remember the name of the place, but the beer was very cheap and there was no dancing/club involved. Just a good old fashioned juke box. The 3rd place I'm thinking of is located in Coral Springs along Wiles Rd. just east of University Drive in a shopping plaza. Again, I cannot recall the name but this place has kareoke, Billiards, food, and a bar.
