Hi all,

Would love to get back to SoFla to be closer to family. They are in Boca and I would prefer to live near them, but may have to consider work in Miami - Brickell area. Any suggestions on an area to live?

I lived in Aventura about 10 yrs ago...loved it then, but not sure what the area is like now. Originally from NY and am really over the city-life, especially after living in LA the past couple of years. A little about me to help: Single, 40, no kids, love living near the beach, love my car, but don't want to be commuting 2hrs.

Thanks!

More condos, some expansion at the mall, that's about it.

Aventura sounds great actually. Aventura is awesome. I'd also suggest Miami Shores perhaps if you don't want to live in an apartment and prefer a single family home. Miami Shores is beautiful and about a 20 minute car ride to Brickell down Biscayne Blvd.
