We have gone to the Town Center every 4th, there is a pretty big parade there.

We also used to enjoy fireworks at the Regional Park every year, but they got cancelled last year, and seems this year too.

Come early and get a good spot along Main street, will be hard to find a good spot (in shade) later.

there is a parade at 10:00 at the Town Center, and there use to be a fair at the Regional Park at 6:00 pm and the fireworks at 9:00 pm. The activities at the Regional were canceled last year because of money....

In that case, do people drive to Ft.Lauderdale if they want to see fireworks? Where would the closest fireworks take place?

There is a Fourth of July parade at the Weston Town Center every year .. I believe it is tomorrow at 10:00 am .... very family oriented and fun ... when I lived in Weston there was a great fireworks show in the evening at the Weston Regional Park .. but I was told it was on hiatus due to the poor economy ... that said many of the locals put on their own fire works displays .
