We are looking for a realtor who will care enough to spend time with us finding the right house (within reason of course!). We are first-time homebuyers, so we need a little more guidance than a seasoned homeowner. We are possibly looking for a short sale/foreclosure, so someone with experience in this area would be a plus. Also, we are looking to live anywhere from South/West Broward down to areas of Miami, but I don't know if there's a realtor out there who is familiar with this broad of an area. It's most important to us to have a realtor who is knowledgeable, patient, and reliable.
Thanks!

I think you should drive around and do some online search to narrow down your desired location. Some of the factors to consider should be commute, schools, price range etc. Among the 3, I would prefer west broward, and since you are open to Miami... I think West Miramar would give you best bang for the buck since there are a lot foreclosure there. If you are looking for foreclosure you need to have a quick decision process and pre-approval ready. Majority of well priced foreclosures are selling for full price (plus/minus 10%)... and often time within 1 to 2 weeks of listing. Good Luck!

Our Realtor is a doll! We are first time buyers as well, we are under contract right now. She has to be one of the most honest if not thee most honest realtor down here. She is out of a Remax, Davie/Cooper City office. But I also know she is familiar with Pembroke Pines. It depends what area you are looking for. But I don't know how we would have gotten to where we are with out her. When I talk about her now I refer to her as my friend, not just my realtor. If you want her info just send me a direct message.
