Ok...another question...my husband and I are music fanatics and we love the arts in general!!!!! We LOVE to go out and listen to live music of all genres, open mikes, karaoke, seeking out local talent, comedy, dancing, etc and I wanted to find out about the music scene in and around where we will be living...i know sunrise itself doesn;t have much in the way of nightlife and it turns out that we will most likely be living right near my sister in sunrise because most of the younger, more happening neighborhoods will be out of our price range and too far from my sister, which is why we are moving there in the first place.

So...what is the music and entertainment scene like around there...and how far is it from sunrise area? Are there comedy clubs? Concert venues? Festivals? (we love music festivals and arts and crafts festivals, free concerts in the park, etc...they have tons of that stuff where we live now. We love parks, zoos, acquariums,

I also love to shop and go to flea markets, consignment stores, etc and wondering if there are things like that around sunrise and vicinityl And of course, the beach, beachfront towns I LOVE, lakes, places to take a boat out, etc. Oh...important to mention....we do not have kids and although I love kids...we are really not seeking out primarily child friendly and family oriented activities...we'd rather NOT go to places swarmed by children and their parents (this is personal to share but we cannot have kids nor adopt so i don't want to spend each weekend around tons of families with kids as a constant reminder)

thanks for insight into all the wonderful things I am hoping florida offers...this might sound similiar to my last post on day or weekend trips but this is really to inquire more about things to do closer to where we will be living in the sunrise area.
