What are some popular card games/board games played among South Floridians?

For example, where I grew up in Michigan...EUCHRE was #1 by far...checkers was up there...then games like Hearts and Spades...Poker is a recent big one. EUCHRE dominated at family get togethers and college dorms though.

How about down in South Florida? Dominos strikes me as potentially a popular one?

I thought this thread was in the Fort Lauderdale forum? Poker is much more popular locally.

Default Texas hold them.

Texas hold them is the most popular poker game at the hard rock casino. Their are games where you only anti up 1 to 5 dollars and if you want to play in the high stake games, you have to open with a 100 dollars. It is a lot of fun as long as you make a limit on how much you are willing to loose. Sometimes you come home with money.

My favorite card game: Spades.

Which is popular in jails across SFLA. Not that I have been to jail before but I've heard.
