Hi everybody!!!!
I'm new to the forum, even tough I've been reading for about 4 hs without stop....LOL

We just bougth a home in Davie. Now I've been reading a little and everybody seems to agree that west davie is a good area... my question is what is cosidered "west" Davie... Flamingo and Griffin intersection would be west????

We looked for aprox a year and a half, thru southwest ranches, plantation, dania and we land on davie... We have a home on pembroke pines and I really like the area, but I learned to hate HOA and master HOA's with all my heart!!!! thats why we moved.

any comments on that area around Flamingo and Griffin??? something special to be aware of other than water mocasins??? LOL!!!

to me, west davie is anything west of Hiatus....but again, just my opinion. I love Davie..and I agree with you on HOA's.....its like living in a communist country when you are under an HOA. No escaping "them"

Great... thanks for the comment on west davie...

The funny thing about HOAs is that usually is everybody against everybody... and in the midle a bunch of old (usually) guys trying to tell everybody else what they are allowed to do and don't.

The whole reason for us to move was the HOA... they drive us so crazy that I decided to figth them from the inside.

Thanks for your reply

BTW: I'm my HOA treasurer. LOL

Flamingo and Griffin...only thing special of note is that you WILL get stuck at that light every single time in either direction. West Davie IMO starts at University Dr, but you will get varying opinions. Flamingo and Griffin should be considered west by almost anyone.
