Where are the buyers of Fort Lauderdale Condos and/or homes coming from? Are buyers emerging from different markets than in past years? Are buyers coming from outside the US as well?

It is a mix bag of first time home buyers and investors... Most of the REOs (bank owned properties) are being bought by cash investors (local, out of state as well as foreigner investors).

European and Latin American countries. Unfortunately, U.S. citizens cannot afford to live in their own country now but foreigners can. Thanks to years of outsourcing jobs and wealth and lowering our tariffs to 0% while other countries protect their domestic industries. We have financed the past 3 decades on credit cards and now the bill has come due. In another decade we'll probably all be living in government housing projects since nobody will have jobs anymore. We can only have so many CEO's of corporations and McDonalds employees flipping burgers.
