Hi, I am looking to move with my fiance to Fort Lauderdale area.
Are there any decent 1 bedroom apartments, in a pretty safe area,
for around $500 a month?

Looking for:
- A 1 Bedroom apartment.
- Doesn't have to be huge.
- Allows 2 small dogs, will pay fees.
- Does not have to include any utilities.

Or it could include utilities for more than $500.

Any suggestions?

To answer your question, no. I would boost the budget to at least 600 for a crappy apartment in an okay area (that might allow pets), 700 for a crappy apartment in a better area, and at least 900 for a decent apartment in a good area.

ya ive been looking around that area as well. I have seen 0 apts in that low. The nicer area places for a 1 bedroom have been about 800-900 a month (Some of those inlcude outlying areas as well)

You won't find anything for 600. The lowest I've seen in Broward is 700-750, and that is in a questionable neighborhood. For 900 you can get a great place just about anywhere in Broward.
