... Not because my kids are sick but because I need to get their physical/shot records on a "Florida file." I have 27 days or so to get the info. to the school! UGH!! This annoys me since I took them for there yearly check-up in IL before we moved here. Anyways, I need a doctor- preferably one with a more holistic approach.

I haven't found one with holistic approach in the area yet. I suggest to go to Pediatric Associates in Weston. They have at least 5 pediatricians and you can get an appointment fast and easy. You will need a blue/yellow immunizations form (if you are not into it, it was super easy to get an exemption in Health Department of Education in Fort Lauderdale).

Pediatric Associates | South Florida | Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties | Primary pediatric care to infants, children and adolescents from newborns to age 18

Did you move yet? Are you in St.Andrews already?

Yes we did. I am loving the area and my kids are loving eagle point! I had lunch with my 3year old at Ikea yesterday (LOVE that place). Are you the one who was doing Annie's organic buying club? That is the next thing for me to do once I get settled.

Teresa Santos at Plantation's Pediatric Associates...just start with the best. I had a very ill child that we took to more than 10 specialists and that doesnt include an 8 day stay at Miami Children's where there were a dozen more. 12 years after she was born and immeasurable worry, one visit with Santos and she nailed it (she was intially referred by the office staff at the orthopedist). One more visit wth a neurologist and my daughter hasnt had to see a dr any more than yearly since. t turned out to be a non-problem with the right treatment.
