What would the shopping/commercial area central to Weston, Cooper City, Miramar and Davie be?

Are there other major shopping centres within these areas or just the one big central one.

Thanks

Any retail stores you could possibly need will be found in Plantation or Pembroke Pines.

The largest mall in the area, Sawgrass Mills is in Sunrise. The Pembroke Lakes mall in Pembroke Pines and Broward Mall in Plantation are also decent sized shopping malls. You will not have any problem finding any retail establishments in southern Broward.

Sorry Ruski it was a bit of a vague question I guess. Here in Australia the big shopping centers are scattered around with one covering a 20 min drive in any direction I guess. So I was wondering if it is the same there, and if so where it would actually be in Broward. But I am guessing that it is different there with lots of big complexes...i think. Its malls I am talking about.

You answered you own question by eliminating the city between Miramar and Cooper City. This area would be Pembroke Pines. Getting to Pembroke Pines from any of these areas would involve a short trip down/up I-75. There is also a lot of retail near Broward Mall in Plantation and around Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise. That being said, shopping is scattered around here too, Pines and Sunrise just have large clusters of retail. There is a large shopping complex in Davie with a movie theater located at Sheridan St and I-75. Additionally, there are major "big box" stores located along University Dr. Miramar also has a lot of basic big-box shopping around the I-75 area. Weston and Cooper City are a little more limited, but there are still plenty of grocery stores and restaurants, and Cooper City even has a Wal Mart store. There is a Supertarget store located literally down the block from the Cooper City city limits. To give you an idea of how much retail there is, there is also a Supertarget in Miramar, as well as Sunrise, and a regular Target store in Pembroke Pines. These stores are not more than 15 minutes from each other.
