I am looking for opinions on the best preschools in aforementioned areas for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. I would like to tour 3-4 and then make a decision. I have heard good things about the preschool at NOVA. I have also heard good things about American Heritage but, can't justify spending about $17,000/yr on pre-school.

Also, does anyone have any info on the Montessori Academy in Pembroke Pines or Summit Questa Montessori? I spoke with Ms. Monica from Montessori Academy and the program sounded pretty impressive. However, I noticed several negative reviews of the school on greatschools.org. Now I am a little weary...

Parkway Christian Preschool in Davie.

However, the registration for 2010/11 year was full on the first day of registration. There could be openings, you never know.

Take a look at the City of Pembroke Pines Preschool system. There are several (4?) sites. Neighbors speak well of it.

I have heard great things about this one. I was going to visit but decided I was going to stay home with my kid a little longer!

Like I mentioned in another post, I could not say enough good things about One Step At a Time Learning Academy in pines. Theyre a little east though. I wish we still lived in Pines just for their school!

Does anyone else have any suggestions? I am really looking at the city preschool, the west campus in pembroke pines. They all seem really nice though the class sizes are somewhat large. There are 20 kids in her class and there would be 2 teachers..I was also looking at pines west academy with smaller class sizes but its quite a bit more expensive.. Not quite sure which one to go with...
